A year in review
CardioSolution physicians, associates, and friends,
2019 was a remarkable year for CardioSolution! We started cardiology programs in communities that have never had an interventional cardiology service line previously. We completed more than 1,100 PCIs with outstanding quality outcomes. We saved time and heart muscle by bringing our board-certified interventional cardiologists to our hospital clients, thereby reducing “door-to-balloon” time. In short, we have blazed trails.
2019 Success by the Numbers
This year, across the 22 hospitals we serve, we made our greatest impact to date in the fight against the #1 cause of mortality in the United States—heart disease. In 2019 alone, we achieved the following:
- 87,500 Patient Encounters
- 1,123 PCIs
- 3 First-Ever Community Programs
- 22 Service Lines in 8 States
- 56 Full-Time Employed Cardiologists (plus Cath Lab RNs, Techs, and Managers)
Since launching our first program back in 2012, we have grown organically, one hospital client at a time.

We are proud to have made the INC 5000 list for the third year in a row. The INC 5000 is comprised of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the U.S. by revenue growth over a 4-year period.
To put this in perspective, there are nearly six million privately held companies in the United States with employees. Among those, CardioSolution was part of the top 5,000 for growth. That means CardioSolution grew faster over the last four years than 99.9% of the companies in that group of six million.
Our 20/20 Vision for 2020
Our vision for 2020 is clear:
Provide the highest level of care for our patients. Appreciate and support our cardiologists and clinical support staff. Serve more communities in need of cardiovascular care. Seek out new and innovative ways to battle heart disease.

What Makes Us Unique
Prior to CardioSolution, hospitals typically had three choices to keep their cardiovascular service line fully staffed and operational:
- Employ one or more interventional cardiologists
- Partner with a private group
- Utilize Locum Tenens physicians
For hospitals in large, urban markets, employing cardiologists is usually the standard, given the relative ease of recruiting and retaining top physicians. However, in mid-size metros and smaller, more rural, markets, hiring, and more importantly, retaining, one or more interventional cardiologists can be an insurmountable challenge.
At CardioSolution, we offer an innovative solution for hospitals struggling to launch or maintain their cardiovascular service line. We provide a comprehensive selection of services, such as physician recruitment, program implementation, and service line management that can be tailored to meet the individual needs of each hospital and community we serve. Our team is comprised of nearly 100 physicians and clinical support staff and we serve a patient population of 2.3 million across 22 communities nationwide.
For our physicians, we offer a unique model that allows them to enjoy full-time employment while experiencing greater work/life balance. With up to 26 weeks of vacation per year, they are able to spend more time with family and friends, enjoy their hobbies, and avoid burnout while still receiving competitive compensation. Most importantly, as a member of the CardioSolution team, our physicians have the opportunity to make a difference in communities that would normally never have access to this life-saving care.
