Trios Health designated as Level I Cardiac Care Center
Trios Health in Kennewick is now categorized as a Level I Cardiac Care Center. The categorization, from the Washington State Emergency Cardiac and Stroke System, became effective late last week and was announced Thursday morning.
It means the health system met exacting criteria and provides the high level of cardiac care 24 hours a day, a Trios Health news release said.
“Last fall the Joint Commission named Trios Health the only ‘Top Performer’ in the Tri-Cities in three key areas, including heart failure care. Now the state recognizes our increased capabilities and the high level of care our team delivers,” said Glen Marshall, Trios CEO, in the news release.
“Doing what it takes to become a Level I Cardiac Center has been a focal point for us. Providing the services our patients want and need is at the heart of our commitment to this community,” he said.
